Sweeter than heaven

Bonjour, bonjour, lovely readers!

I have been away for a couple of weeks filled with fun events. I went to Italy for two weeks with family and friends and we visited places like Florence, Luca and Sienna. I went to see the David by Michelangelo, which impressed me quite, it is a gorgeous sculpture. Last weekend I went to Lowlands with Mirthe, Iris and Odet, and I had the best time ever. Band like Yeasayer, The XX, Mumford and Sons, Jónsi, Broken Bells and Two Door Cinema Club played and we also went to the Silent Disco twice. I wish I was still there, although I was pretty tired and dead after three days of almost no sleep and a lot of partying. Pictures are coming soon, but for now I'll leave you with what I wore today.

Welcome to the jungle

Hola chicas,

Last week I ordered two rings at Ydeltuyt and they arrived three days ago. I really like them, they have some gorgeous stuff there. This morning I worked for three hours and returned home afterwards. I painted my nails in all the colours of the rainbow because I have so many lovely colours at the moment I want to use them all. My fave at the moment is Catrice 240 - Sold Out Forever, the mintgreen one on my right hand.

Somewhere in my messy room is my camera, but I really cannot find it now, so here are some crappy quality pictures from my nails, rings and outfit.

It started out as a feeling

Bonjour tout le monde,

Today I studied some more for my final exams, always fun. I got this top as a birthday gift a year ago, and I still love it. Daryl van Wouw is one of my favorite designers and I really love his ideas of fashion. I met him two years ago, but it wasn't really a long meeting. We talked a bit about fashion in general, but we had to move on. Last year I got to see some of his pieces backstage at the Amsterdam Fashion Week, which was an amazing experience. I am wearing the top with some 'Double Denim' and sneakers. Now moving on to do some more studying!

I have been studying for my final exams and for the rest of the time doing pretty much nothing the past few days. Contrast, much? My exams are starting on monday, and although I love the fact in less than three weeks I officialy don't have to do anything more for high school, it is also a bit weird, because it has been six years. I am going to miss everyone, but I am also really looking forward to next year. Anyone else finishing high school this year?

Buddha-ring from Bali

Last week was amazing. I visited Bali with me family and the island is beautiful! We mainly stayed at the hotel, but for 3 days we travelled the island and visited some gorgeous places. It was one of my favourite holidays untill now. We visited a lot of sanctuaries and even a really special one, which is located in the sea and is really important for all the Buddhists at Bali, it was a really special event for me. We also took a ride on an elephant in the jungle, which was a really cool happening. It is an amazing island and it was a wonderful week.

I opened the letter from ArtEZ before we went to Bali, and unfortunately they said no. However, I am on the spare list for upcoming year, so who knows? Maybe there is a small possibility.. They did like my work, so that is good to hear!

Waves come and go

My lovely rings.
I still cannot pick my favourite, because I love them all. Since a couple of months I am wearing several rings everyday and I started buying more and more rings. Below are almost all of my rings, although I have some more, but I don't wear those that much at the moment. The orange/gold one belonged to my great-grandmother, so that's a special one. I bought the blue/silver one last week when I went shopping at Bijou Brigitte.

Some more items I bought last week: Both in the sale! I got the dress at the H&M for only €15 and the fury-vest at the Zara for only €10. Almost bought the vest in december for €30, but I didn't get it at that moment, so I was very happy when I got it on sale last week!

News on ArtEZ: I got the letter yesterday, but I am too afraid to open it up. Also, it's testweek this week, and I have to learn, and I think I am not able to focus anymore after reading the letter, wheter it is good or bad news. I don't know when I will open the letter, but I am leaving on friday for a trip, so I have to read it before friday. I am also still a bit ill, but I already feel better than the last couple of days. Time to learn some more Spanish literature! Thanks for all the comments, etc!

I am leaving this afternoon for a big trip, I am going to visit Bali! Really excited! See you all in one week and enjoy your holidays!

We fade to grey

This is my H&M order from quite some time ago, but hopefully they will arrive this friday. I need more rings, because I really like wearing them.

Found these pictures below quite a while ago on an amazing fashionblog, but now I cannot remember which one. Let me know if you do! I love all the rings, but the best thing is the bracelet. It is gorgeus and I would love to have it.

Last saturday I went to ArtEZ for my second admission day and I think it went pretty well. We were asked to design a fabulous outfit for the cover of Vogue. You could pick between the English Vogue (eccentric), the Italian Vogue (classic) and the Russian (bling-bling). I chose the English Vogue and designed an outfit. Within two weeks I will recieve a letter from ArtEZ, which will tell me if I get in or not. These two weeks are going to be nerve-racking!
