Yesterday I shot these gorgeous pictures from my friend Loes in her backgarden.

On monday my life as a student started in Amsterdam, where from now on I will be for this year. It is an art school with amazing subjects as photography, drawing, painting, carving, photoshop, film and much more. My class is not that big, we are only with fifteen, but it is a cool group of people. Tomorrow I will start with the real lessons, so I am really curious what it will bring me this year.

Happy beloved birthday

It's my 18th birthday today!!!

My birthday was a lot of fun. Tuesday evening I went for dinner with four friends at a Sushi restaurant, called Tempura in Amsterdam and afterwards we went to Paradiso so we could countdown to midnight. Yesterday some family and friends came over to celebrate my birthday and me and Mirthe watched some movies. Today I am leaving for a two week-trip to Italy with my family, and later on some friends will also join us! See you in a couple of weeks,

The trip to Stockholm was absolutely amazing and we visited a lot of things. I had a lovely time with my mum and our hotel was really close to the main shopping centre and to the Royal Palace. Besides shopping we visited the museum of modern art, Gamla Stan, Skansen and much more. Bought some shirts and things at Monki and Urban Outfitters, pictures of those coming soon. Let me show you the sidestreets of my life

Back on the blog! The last two weeks have been crazy, chaotic, extremely busy, but above all a lot of fun. After the art competition at school, Mirthe and I worked a bit on our video, so it would be perfect for the 'big' competition, which was last friday. More events in the last two weeks: Tes 18th birthday party. We gave her some gorgeous wedges (see below) and a lovely bag. I am a bit jealous, haha. The day after her party, another friend of mine turned 18, so also a party at her house! Last thursday, the radio station 538 came to visit our school, because we are one of the five most amazing schools in the Netherlands! (We nominated our school by voting) Me and some friends of mine organized the fashionshow for the Check Out, and it was pretty freaking cool! The theme was 'Lady Gaga', so we did some crazy hairstyles. Everyone had to wear white to school, so it was a sunny day! Last friday me, Mirthe and some other students from my school went to the 'big' art competition, called the 'Artistieke Interlyceale', which was this year in Eindhoven. We competed against three other schools in the Netherlands. In the night there was a really big party and we were having a lot of fun!

Come on doll and use me

Our film won at the art-competition at our school! Mirthe and I worked really hard to finish it, and I am really proud! It's pretty weird to see yourself on a huge screen in the auditorium, but the result was amazing. Enjoy the film!

Guilty Pleasure

Tonight continues the third season of Gossip Girl in the United States. After a break of almost three months there is finally a new episode! Personnaly, I love Gossip Girl, it is my guilty pleasure. When I am ill I like to watch a lot of episodes, wheter I already saw them or not. I love the clothes, the gossip, the story, the characters, the setting, pretty much everything.
To celebrate the new episode, a couple of my favourite pictures, some old, some new.

Buddha-ring from Bali

Last week was amazing. I visited Bali with me family and the island is beautiful! We mainly stayed at the hotel, but for 3 days we travelled the island and visited some gorgeous places. It was one of my favourite holidays untill now. We visited a lot of sanctuaries and even a really special one, which is located in the sea and is really important for all the Buddhists at Bali, it was a really special event for me. We also took a ride on an elephant in the jungle, which was a really cool happening. It is an amazing island and it was a wonderful week.

I opened the letter from ArtEZ before we went to Bali, and unfortunately they said no. However, I am on the spare list for upcoming year, so who knows? Maybe there is a small possibility.. They did like my work, so that is good to hear!
