EN ÉTÉ

As if time was nothing, the last few months flew by. I spend a couple weeks in lovely Italy for some resting, wandering around in Rome, visiting adorable seatowns and eating yummy food. Finished my first year design at AMFI in july and in one week I will start with a new adventure, going to the second year fashion and branding. A switch, but such a good decision and a relieve. Can't wait to start with something new and refreshing. I missed it here, so expect some more of these coming up in the next few weeks.

CREATIVE BUBBLE

Last weekend I spend walking around in Antwerp with one of my best friends. Unfortunately I didn't take a lot of pictures but I had a lot of fun, shopping (Urban Outfitters on the pictures!), drinking coffee, eating amazing chocolate and singing at a karaoke bar. Got this wonderful skirt at Forever 21, it was love at first sight. Lately I start to collect more and more items from Forever 21, they have some really cool clothes for low prices. The week off was actually lovely, had some time to meet up with friends and did a lot of driving, because I finally passed for my driver's license! (ps. welcome in my room! this is where all my crazy ideas come into existance and where I create everything, also the dress on the fitting doll!)

ORIENTAL

A 3 week travel across Thailand.

Not only are the people welcoming and really nice, the food is delicious and there is so much to see and to experience, Thailand is most of all a photographers paradise.



It was absolutely one of the most amazing and impressive experiences of my life and the things I have seen and done are just too much to sum up. Some highlights for me were the visit to the Elephant Hospital, a hiking tour in the jungle, a thrilling ride on the back of an elephant in the rainforest, off-road quad riding in the mountains and taste the amazing food in the many streets of all the places we visit.

Other stories to tell in the past three months:

- I got in the school I applied for! Two weeks from now I start at the Amsterdam Fashion Institute, Fashion & Design.

- I turned 19 two weeks ago and I celebrated it with my family and friends in Thailand. The staff of the hotel we stayed in was super nice and got me cake and decorations.

- I went to Pinkpop with my friend Mirthe and it was a real last-minute decision, but we had so much fun and the music was awesome.

ALIVE

Yes, I am still alive, the last month was crazy and a lot of work for admissions for new art schools, but at the moment there is more time to sit back and relax and do fun stuff.

These two pictures I took a couple of weeks ago. I made both the dress and the skirt in the upper picture and styled it with some other items. Huge thanks to Julie for modelling.

TODAY

Today I stayed home from school to work on an application for AMFI, the school I would like to go to and just relax and have some 'me-time'. Also came up with this outfit, featuring lots of new items from Dubai and a short shopping trip with my mother the other day.

FUR AND GOLD

Winter is here and Christmas is only one day away. I walk around all day with my fur headband and yesterday I painted my nails gold with glitters. I love these lazy days were you just stay in, drink hot chocolate, listen to christmas music and watch the snow outside. The last two I took yesterday in the forest, it's the perfect weather for photgraphs.

WINTER WONDERLAND

Today is the first day snowy day here in Holland.
I was afraid it would cause a lot of trouble with the train, but luckily there was no trouble at all.
The balcony was free of footsteps, so a perfect place for some snow-writing-fun. My finger is now really cold and red, but hey, look what we have here...

I'M A NINJA

It will take another 9 months for it to start, but my Lowlands ticket is in the pocket.
I cannot wait for Lowlands 2011.
